We though this pose was cute it was taken at the hospital just after the birth. I would love to post a Picture of him at one week old but MY CAMERA BROKE.....AHHHHHH This is not a Good thing to happen for a mother of 7 children. and a New born at that.... so as soon as im up and around shopping again we will try to get a new one. I am healing slowly but feel fine It might be a little faster if I could do nothing but lay in bed but..... Then there is life with 7 kids... lol But I must say my husband has been fantastic. He is helping so much I feel bad that he has to work and help keep up my load but I very much appreciate him. I did have a helper on Monday and Tuesday but she got the stuff everyone else has had.... throwing up and the poos.... yukk so she is at home in bed and I am now on my own during the day but im taking it easy and just doing as little as possible... it is really hard for me to leave the chores for John but I realize it will take longer for me to heal if I do not. Thanks everyone so much for your prayers and love to us through all of this. We have had so many meals brought to us and what a blessing this is. I do make supper in the evenings so just having to heat up a meal is so nice. but I am back to cooking tonight ... Wow its been one week already and I just love holding my little guy. Have a great week. And pray for Little John Michael he is due to have his circumcision Saturday. Ouch... :(

Home Sweet Home.... With a Baby...

So here he is ... John Michael Determan 8lb and 20 1/2 in long and ohhhh so sweet... He is a true blessing and his brothers and Sisters are just squeezing him all over and love him to death... Joseph has already made sure his eyes were real and tried to honk his nose... LOL I guess thats what being the runt is all about. Thanks for your prayers. The birth went really well. I started the Pit drip around 8:30 and had him at 12:20 and was unassisted as far as nurse intervention . I got to use my Midwife there and it was great. The Dr missed the delivery and the nurse had to catch. I told them the baby was comming and I dont think they belived me... Well I was right. But we had a great birth and are glad to be home.

John Michael's Birthday Party.......

Well for those of you that already know this is just the same information but for those of you we couldn't get to here is the news....

Last night I went for an Ultrasound to check on the baby since i am 1 week overdue and the baby looked great and he was moving fine and heart rate in high 120's but.... I have no amniotic fluid at all...... NONE there is absolutely no water so that means a Home birth is out. Im so sad about this but I obviously want a healthy baby. The main risk is that since i am a week over due the baby could start to pass marconium (baby poo) and since there is no fluid to dilute it , It is very harmful and could be deadly if the baby in hailed it. So


John Michael's Birthday party will begin at 6amThursday morning at St. Anthony's

Aunt Tammi is staying with our children she is such a blessing to us so please people that see her give her a great big hug. I should be home friday morning at the latest and I do still get to have my midwife at the birth so it will still be what they call Unassisted Meaning no pain stuff and I will be free to move maybe.... Im not sure on this it depends on how long they make me have the pitocien. but we will try to update everyone as soon as possible so pray for us and Tammi.

Well Im still pregnant and Waiting on the Big event.... Every phone call i get is
"How are you"
Well is anything happening yet? LOL

NO Nothing is happening....

I just think it is funny because people call and ask like we wouldn't call them or forget to call.

So maybe when you guys call we will just say.... Oh did we forget to tell you that we had the baby... He was 8'1 and 21 1/2 long.... LOL Im just kidding I just wish That I had news for everyone when they called and I don't.... But I am compiling a book of things that DO NOT PUT ME INTO LABOR....lol Like for instance.....

Running to the mailbox
Jumping on the trampoline
blue and black cohosh ( a strong herb that the midwife's gave me)
castor oil ( from previous experience )

Well if i do not have the baby by wednesday I have another appointment this day at 10:30am
and a ultrasound to check on the baby. So please pray for me but I will say that im not really in the dumps about it I am just ready to see and hold my sweet baby.

My Sweet Husband brought me home these beautiful roses yesterday for me and my girls and we just loved them he is so special to us and treats us like queens.We are very thankful for a hard working man who never ever lets us down and always provides for us. We never want for anything . He is the Best husband and Daddy ever. We also like that he spends his extra time with us when I know he has at least 10 other projects he could be doing.

Wow IM OVERDUE AGAIN. But the end is near im sure.... LOL But the exciting thing is that Nikki Lost her other tooth. She looks so cute.
We are just keeping warm today and the kids have set up a Restaurant in the Living room and are having a blast.

Happy Valentines Day.... And My Due Date!

Wow My due date is here...... Great Im so happy that things are great with the baby. I went to the Midwife yesterday and she said im 80 to 90% efaced and thined and the baby is in position so now just waiting on contractions...... LOL Just waiting... Well I know it is any second or minute or day or week....lol Hopefully this week but you just never know. I have always been late and they wanted me not to go late but As always " A man plans his ways but the Lord directs his steps". God Has the perfect Birthday.

Well in what ever state I am in I will be content. This is what Paul says in the Bible and I am gleaning from this advice. I am not just in the dumps though about not having the baby yet I know that God has a perfect Birthday for our little man. We are very grateful to even be having another child for not so many people are as fortunate as we are to be blessed with children. They truly are a blessing. This week is a relaxing one really not so many things to do and so we are just enjoying each other and waiting...... As it is a little unnerving that at any second the pain could hit and who knows what I will be doing or what time of day it will be.... LOL I do love surprises but wow this is an sensory overload for me..... What will I do and how will I be with the children and how fast can John get here.... LOL all those questions go through my mind daily. Well it is time to make breakfast for the little ones are now waking up it is 6am so I better go. Thanks for your prayers and support... Oh and so far The Birth dad has not contested the termination.... PTL
