We wish all of our friends and family a Happy New Year... May each of you know the power of Jesus Christ as your savior. The best New Year's resolution is to do what the bible says...


"Go and Sin no more" Remember if you are a Christian... Then you are dead to sin and do not have to live in it any longer. Jesus gave us the power over it when we died on the cross with him.. HE TOOK OUR SINS.... And we are a new creation... The old man was put off... So there is JOY in the Lord..... Yes JOY..... If you have trouble with it then you need to either get salvation or re-think you priorities in life.... God gives you Joy when you are walking after the spirit. It is only when you walk after your lust of the flesh, you find your self all messed up.. Have you asked and examined you self ... Am I doing what God has planed for me to do? It is easy to complain about the day and its doings ... But stop think of the blessing before the blunders.... then the blunders are not so bad.... We love you and are always here to talk....

My Birthday

Well I had a great Birthday party and my sweet husband and Emma made me breakfast and cleaned the kitchen for me and then that afternoon he made me a birthday cake. We went to his Sisters house and Nanny Norma and Aunt Tammi made me a Mocha cheese cake......yummmmo Thanks guys for making my day special.

My mother got the kids see saws for Christmas ... But they would rather go around and round.... Fast.... Please pray for there safety. but it look like fun. Grandma Jerri.... Don't look. "she warned me about this... Her and her sister when they were little use to do this... and it was not a pleasant out come..

See I can't even get my picture to get on here right....

I have scrubbed.... I have Lysoled..... I have mopped.... I have wiped.... I have medicated.... I have thrown up..... From both ends.... And so has everyone else..... I was sick the first weekend of December and here it is 2 days before Christmas and We still have kiddo's throwing up or have diarrhea..... Will it ever end? Im so tired..... We will go a couple of days with every one fine and then back to throwing up again and sever tummy cramps.... just my kids, John and I have not been sick again... I am the only thing they all have in common so I stocked up on hand sanitizer and bleach and man my hands are so dry....lol but they are clean. So please pray for us. And Im really sorry to all the people we have infected... really I am.. I hope we are not to blame for so many in the family sick.... we would be well for a couple of days so I thought it was safe to venture out and then the next day they were doing it again... so maybe we just keep getting it back... who knows. John was helping taking care of Faith tonight.... He is so wonderful. I gave them all a huge dose of garlic and honey and peppermint tincture and lots of prayer.... Im gonna kill that little intestinal bug if its the last thing I do...... Im a Mam ma on a mission.. "TERMINATOR" ok so I watched to much TV growing up...lol sorry but im tired and I stink like bleach... so I guess its getting to me. MERRY CHRISTMAS.... WE LOVE EVERY ONE .

The Big Date

These are from last year.

Tonight My husband and I are going on a date and Christmas shopping.... Im so excited to things I like the most... My husband and shopping. I am a country gal but I sure do like to go shopping... Don't know why... I hate having so much stuff...lol Well we are going to eat Italian "my favorite" then going over to the walmart and get a few gifts and stocking stuffers.. Well It is not even 8am and Im on the computer blogging...lol My kids are all fed and standing around watching me. I hope to get a few pictures of John and I tonight. Here are some cute pictures of the kids... there old but I like to reminisce ..

Still.... the ..... Flu.....

Now Emma and John and Faith and Joseph are throwing up and or the other...hmmm not so nice thing...... I started to feel queasy again this afternoon and am downing peppermint tea... It really dose help... Well Emma and Faith seem to be better already its just like a once or twice throw up and its over and Joseph has been on the couch all day with a tummy ache... well its cold out side and we have our nice wood stove... I even cooked dinner on it and am making Johnny cakes on my cast iron tonight.... I love cast Iron.... It is my very favorite....

Also a very funny story. Ty got a pocket knife for Christmas from Derek and well he had it about 10 min and went out side and wanted to cut some grass which I was supervising ....but he still stuck him self in the head....hmmmm I apparently was not watching good enough. Well have a warm week and stay inside if you can.. Love you

Well with all the hussle and bussle of the Holidays we are still sick here at the Determan Home. This is my favorite time of the year normally but now I am still stuffy and headache and tired. The boys are too and ty has stomach issues.. And our first family Christmas party is Saturday So I hope we are better buy then. I was supposed to make cookies... but im so glad that Sams already has.... Well Im going to lay back on the couch and wait for the baby to wake up. Have a great day

This is how I cook with the children..lol

Last week was a blur.. The Edwards family came to stay with us for 3 days and they have 6 children and we had fun. It was alot of work cooking and cleaning after 13 children and 4 adults but I survived... They live in Iowa and we do not get to see them often so it was nice to fellowship with them. They left on Friday and so I thought that I would rest over the weekend and just sew since John went out of town to go hunting in Gould and I was up late sewing and having fun and started to feel a little quisey and had a heaad ache.... so I went to bed only to wake up in the middle of the night throwing up.... so all day saturday i laid around and to day sunday i am feeling a little better. AND I AM NOT PREGNANT...LOL All of my girlfriends have mention this lol... but I have never gotten sick with any pregnancy. And I hurt like a truck had run me over... not the same i dont think.. but John did shoot another buck and so he will be home on Sunday night. Hope you have a great week and that no one gets this bug. And hope my kids do not... here are some random pictures. and a funny video. Love ya
