I have been busy homeschooling the children and the normal clean,cook,laundry regiment. I have been so blessed this year with the garden.  I love playn in the dirt , beats dishes any ol day! We just replanted for the fall and are hoping that it will provide abundantly as did the summer garden!  We are loving these cooler temps and are out side till all the sunshine is squeezed out of the day! We give thanks to our Lord for his mercy and blessings of a cool August!

July is here and gone to soon!

Well its HOT.... its been over 100 for over a week now and the kids are getting a little cabin fever.. we go out in the morning but by afternoon there hanging inside.  We have been loving my husband working from home!! Having daddy next door in our own shop was a dream we never really though would happen. But God is good and has him just where he needs to be. The lessons and heart strings he is tying with our children are priceless! We love the spray park!!!!!! It is fun and gives us an oppertuinity to witness to the "naked people" lol we were able to reafirm our reason for modesty and that if your not taught you do not know... and some girls "women" just do not realize what there doing.... but maybe some do :( , So any way we were blessed to have the Latham family for a week and wow was that fun... 16 kids under the age of 11.  We miss our friend when they leave its just so fun. The garden is going amazing... pumpkins, melons, squash,tomatoes,cucumbers and peppers OH MY... = skinny for mama.. at least im hoping :o)

New to the household also is our pet turtle "sarah" She is fisty and is not scared of the kids.. they feed her everything... and bathed her in sanitizer so she would not be germy...lol

Happy Fathers Day!

We had a great fathers day! And wish all of our Dad's a great one also!  We grilled steaks and watched the kiddos ride bikes and be silly!  Its nice and hot here now and we enjoy it! The garden is doing so well and we enjoy the fruits of our labor! Enjoy the silly pics and I have a birthday post at the end of the week.  :O)

Country Summer FUN

May has been filled with blessings! The shop open for business, The garden planted , Mothers day fun for me! My sweet Husbands birthday, Trip to the Zoo with Nanny , and A 4 day camping trip to Lake Eufaula with our family and boy was it fun! IT is alot of work but so worth the children's smiles! I am still doing laundry and un packing but I have been busy in the garden. Lots of pics to share but none of the lake... my camera went BONKERS.  We are on summer break this week to catch up from lake and so that I could finish up the garden.  I have a huge garden and hope that the Lord blesses it! We love veggies and fruit.  In our home we eat 10lbs of apples a week and 6 lbs of bananas . Not to mention the smoothies and salads and spniach and othere things.. It keeps us healthy! We are blessed with good health! Have a great June.  We have a special little girl turning 10!!! cant believe it!

Our Esther bible story day, We do a bible story once a week and make sure to dress the part!

Well we are schooling full time and taking care of new baby and THE SHOP IS DONE. Praise the Lord. We move the Lift in on Monday and my sweet, works way to hard, husband will be home! It has taken us 1 year to complete this journey but we did it.  He built this shop from the ground up with his own two hands (and a huge help from his dad) and I couldnt be more proud of him!  Its so nice and roomy. I will post pics on tuesday of the new shop all completed with the car lift.  The kids have been so diligent in chores and school (with a little encouragement from Mom) and on the down time we have been playing alot! Here are some pictures of the kiddos and we have a Birthday tomorrow! Joseph Henry turns 6! He is our little COMMAND man! He will be a Great leader some day. (but not of me) :O) I remind him often. lol Have a great weekend. Sorry its been so long. Life happens fast. But Heaven is forever. Hope your ready!
