WELL its hot...106.2 today.... sheesh.. will it ever end. We have been doing school and playing in the little pools i got for the children.. but other then that pretty much the same everyday. Ready for the heat to slow down so we can do more field trips with the children!

Well we made it to July. We have had 11 days in June over 100 and it looks like many more for JULY... TODAY IS 101.7 in the shade. and the kids are playing in the pool's i got them ... We have been clearing the land and getting ready for the shop to be put up. God has just been blessing us with loads of work and we are so grateful! We find out in 25 days or on July (26) what this sweet baby is going to be... a boy or a girl. I think it will be a boy. but only God knows , for now anyway! Our children have had a cough for over 2 weeks now and im hoping we are just about over that! We last week had strep throat for the first time... so anti bio's for the Determans. The first time ever.. thank God we are usually pretty healthy.. Well all for now hope you enjoy your 4th of July...and stay COOL.

Well we have a fun couple of days .. Ty got a new bike for his birthday and had a dirt cake (with worms) and enjoyed playing games with his brothers and sisters. We were going to have a party but I have a few coughing and a couple running a low grade fever.... ((life happens)) so we are the PARTY anyway and still had a FUN

Ty is so sweet and compassionate .. He is SLOW to speak and SLOW to wrath. and just SLOW sometimes.. lol He didn't even walk until he was 14 mo old. But he is so gentle with my little ones and enjoys being a big brother. Im proud at the little man he is becoming. His Daddy is doing a good job! We love you Ty Bosco!

Fathers Day

Wow, Happy Fathers day just dose not seem enough to say to my husband... The most hardworking, patient , sweetest and faithful man I have ever met! He loves God with all his being... and Then im blessed to be his wife!! My children adore there daddy! He plays with them.. He is there best friend. My boys thinks hes the strongest man ever (which he is) and my girls will tell you they want to marry someone just like there daddy! He has taught me so much and I am forever greatful to our "Daddy" Thanks honey for all the sacrifices you make for us!

Summer is off to a wonderful start here at the house! We are wonderfuly busy and have lots of photos. We have went to the lake and Nikki turned 9, had a baby shower with over 60 guest , I had my best friend stay a couple of days with me and her 6 children!!! So that is 14 children under 10 and 2 moms.... AMAZING great fun. Im starting to get out of the sleepy pregnancy fog and thats a good thing, We are pickn' at the garden everyday and were going to start butchering next week or so, Im so happy to be a on a small farm to raise these blessings (children) and teach them how to care and grow for what God has given us. Emma just loves that everything we eat we grew our self! and Teaching them to be good stewards and "work hard"... beacuse we do! To bad we cant eat the weeds...lol We would have plenty! lol John and I will be married 13 years on June so 26th! Im so blessed to be with him and Im so in love with that guy! so Yes mushy pics are in order... hope you can endure them! Have a great rest of the month... we will have another birthday at then end of the month and more pics im sure.

What we have been doing!

Well this last couple weeks have been filled with parties and gardening , baby chicks, puppies, kittens and then of course our baby! We are in full swing here at the Determan Homestead ! We have some pictures of Mothers day and of the newest addition to our family! Im trying to blog more, FB less... or something..lol I really do not have time for either but am trying for family sake! But it will be allot less as the summer goes on. Im so busy with children and gardening and then it will be canning and preserving the harvest that God blesses us with. and in June we will be butchering our chickens (24) and so we are going to be swamped with farm work! But life is wonderful and I wouldn't have it any other way! So on to the pictures. Have a great week!

A long time..

Well we have been wonderfully busy. March came and went like a blur! and then April was almost the same. Many Blessings we have had for the Month of April

1. We found out we were having baby #9.. Due in December
2. We got a whole new flock of chickens , Layers and meat birds
3. Lots of yummy veggies in the garden
4. Celebrating our Risen Savior with friends and Family
5. Joseph surprise Bday Party
6. John and I loosing 27lbs since Jan 26th!
7. We got a new Van.(big tires and loud pipes) = Mrs. Determan love's it :O)
   

So April proved to be very eventful for the Determan Family. May will be just as fun. For me anyway I am painting my living room and the entry way. I am also blessed to be the host of a Baby shower for some wonderful ladies Kim Chattam and Courtney Mount. Im so excited about this, it is going to be an Ice Cream Social. We will feature homemade Ice cream (honey Vanilla) and maybe another flavor? Also there will be the Bryers Vanilla and Choc. and every one will bring a topping and there daughters are of course invited to come and wear there very best! We love including the children in our events. Its is such a special time for a mother to spend with her daughter and learning how to attend a party and bless someone else! (as I speak Lizzy is just dumped my sewing drawer full of pins.... be right back) ............ as I was saying May is going to be busy! I am learning constantly about being content. There are so many levels to that~ I really do love staying home. I do not mind all the dishes and laundry , cleaning and cooking, loving and spanking, smiling and crying.. its all apart of my day and who I am. I love the fact I can say ( Yes there all mine) and be proud of the mother I am. And you may say boastful... I will take what I can get! lol We are not perfect. We throw fits... (all of us)
We yell (all of us) We learn to ask for forgiveness and We learn to listen to God lead ,guide and direct us. Im studying in Titus and I love the wisdom God gave women.. I do not want the word of God to be blasphemed! I am so glad that I can mold my self to what God wants me to be... TO OFTEN people mold God to what they want Him to be.. So that is my April and I cant wait to post about the coming and goings of May. We are trying to sell our old van and hoping and praying and hoping and praying for other needed things in our life.
