Progress

Things are slowly getting done. The weather is messy wet, and makes for a cranky mama with mud EVERYWHERE !! ((Working on my joy in all circumstances)) 

Sheetrock guy has been here almost 2 weeks and when he is done and out of the way we will start painting. Then we have to tile the bathroom and finish plumbing and putting lights and lay and refinish the floors. We need to put siding on our house AND  Then we  move our stuff in. Of course we still need to finish the shop so John can work. Pray we start getting done quickly.  But in explaining all that we are so happy to be working together.  Did we bite off more then we could chew? Deffinetly !! Lol we jumped in the water with both feet and forgot to hold our nose :D.  We are learning so much and we will be stronger for it.  We start our New Year with hope and joy of things to come.  So here is the house so far.

So much to be done , but we just keep plugging a way. We will be so Thankful to get in the house when it's done. But for now , I have a nice warm place to cook and sleep and relax with my children so we are still HAPPY CAMPERS (5 months)

What's going on

Working hard on the house while dealing with freezing temps is not much fun!  Our water freezes and with trying to keep the camper warm.  But overall we are STILL happy campers!

We are hoping things keep going and the weather holds out. And the shop gets finished!

Every morning the kids come out and start a fire to warm up and enjoy the sunrise.

We went to the creek Tuesday ! 

The kids wanted to jump in so I said go for it! I'm the FUN mom.

This is an original rock building built on the property. It's a root /canning celler.  And built by the creek. I love it

We have a long road to go.  We won't be in the house until December , but if your in our neck of the woods come see us 

Windows!!!

Progress! We have windows :) 

We have been doing structure work so I have not had to much to post .  We start the add on soon and then with the wiring and pluming . Johns shop will be built next week so I will have pics of that I hope.  The weather is beautiful and leaves falling ! Fall is wonderful in the hills.  

STALLED DUE TO WEATHER

Well I wish I had tons of picture but I dont. The weather has kept us from working on the house this week and so we have had lots of character building opportunities while spending our days in the camper!! :) The kids are learning more everyday and So am I.  LOVE.  We love being with each other.  We fight, scream , cry , argue , laugh, play , run and be wild! But we Love each other dearly.  I always wanted to be a mom with lots of children running to and fro.  I am living my dream life! Yes among all the craziness this is my dream! Diapers, messes , clothes , dishes, cooking its all work and not always fun . But one day I will look back and say with a huge smile. I LIVED MY DREAM. Most of you know that my whole goal in life is to Love and Serve God with all I have, Serve my husband unconditionally and love him passionately!  And to see my children walk with the Lord.  Thats it.  My bucket list.  :)

Progress on the home in the holler

What great weather we have had ! My husband is working diligently on the house and we have ordered WINDOWS!!! This is a giant leap , for me anyway :) .  The kids are playing and enjoying life in the holler.  We have a fire pit that we light most everyday and sit and enjoy this time of my kids all being with me.  All to soon they will grow up and be gone! ((Sniff)) we are also looking into having our trees harvested off our land, lumber is at an all time high! We are hoping to start the addition soon.  

The add on will come off this side, we are adding 300sf pantry and deck joining the front porch.  

The kitchen and dinning room, we had to take out rotted walls and we are replacing floors.
