Court Day is Over (for now)

Court went well ... Corinne the Mother did terminate her parental rights and so there is one down and the Dad sent a laywer in his place and said he wants his girls back but the D.A. was not happy with this and neither was the Judge. So but to be fair the Judge said that if Todd didn't show up to the December 13th court date he looses his rights on default , but if he dose show up he has a right to jury trial. ( if he shows up) . But if he shows up im still not sure this would help him because he has warrants out for his arrest due to child support on the three boys he abandon years ago ... So the D. A told us she would do everything in her power to terminate his rights in December. So pray that we would have the Judges mercy and he would side in our favor and not give Todd a Chance... So one down and one to go.... But any way we still have the Girls and will continue to keep them until adopted so the girls with us is a permanent situation unless this drags out for 2 years and Todd can clean up and pay all the fines and prove to be a Great Dad.... Just do not think that will happen so it will probly be Summer before we have them leaglly ours. But in our heart they are all ready ours . SO this was a Great turn out for court. No jury would ever say he is fit to have his children.... Thanks for the prayers and support. And hope you can welcome the girls into the family as we have. They are so cute.... and Special.
